I am a trainer, coach and author from Berlin. I studied media & communication sciences and psychology plus I have a doctorate in sports sciences with a focus on Taijiquan (Tai-Chi).
Since I was pretty young I was always looking for a long-term cultivation practice. When I found out I could fuse that with my martial arts enthusiasm my lasting love for Taijiquan was born. Taijiquan has the power to impact body and mind in a very practical sense. I like to use my experience now to train and coach others on their personal pathways. I was always determined and also fortunate enough to learn from one of the most outstanding Taijiquan teachers in China . He was very kind to teach the art in much detail. Thus I am grateful to have become a lineage holder of this art myself. This actually creates a lot of responsibility to ensure that Chen-Style Taijiquan survives intact for the coming generations. This is the main reason why I teach regular classes in Berlin and lead many national and international workshops.
My main interest, enthusiasm and dedication is to research, preserve and transmit our extraordinary Taijiquan lineage by Chen Fake and Chen Zhaokui, which can hardly be learned outside of China with only very few exceptions.
The art itself has wide-ranging benefits and it can be seen as a holistic and integrated form of martial art, health exercise and and mental cultivation practice.
I teach traditional Chen-Stil Taijiquan "from the old China", with no frills or simplifications. I also train and coach other teachers internationally. Many of these trainers already had years or decades of experiences in China or elsewhere. I enjoy teaching with a clear training-structureby providing a precise and detailed teaching approach and to support them to make another big leap. I am happy to teach in-depth but also somewhat easier to learn qigong, and I coach and advise in the areas of competitive sports. Welcome!
What do I offer?
Do you have any questions?
This is what others say:
(obviously I'd never say anything like that myself 😉 )
“I have been to China to study Taijiquan several times. Your lessons in Berlin reminded me of the training there, but it was even more detailed and precise in execution - so I almost missed it on my last trip there. I became suddenly aware that you can actually learn Taijiquan in depth here in Berlin! ”
Johannes, physicist and Taijiquan teacher from Berlin
„Nabil是一位很好的太極拳老師！Liu Rufang, teacher from Taibei
“From the first training session I knew that it would fit! In fact, my enthusiasm never waned. The way Nabil teaches this martial art can only inspire - practically and theoretically. The great plus is that I quickly noticed how my body is changing in its structure and how it is feeling so much healthier than before. "Monique, event manager from Berlin
Meik, consultant and coach from Berlin
"In addition to a sound knowledge of Gongfu technology, Nabil's training gives me a lot of valuable impulses for my work with managers. Nabil is an authentic, warm-hearted and humorous person who picks up every person where they are. An absolute 'must go' in Germany if you want to learn more about the connection of wisdom and tradition. ”
How do I teach Chen-Stil Taijiquan?
Our Chen style Taijiquan is very complex. There are powerful movements for martial applications just as there are methods for internal cultivation.
Muscles, joints, bones and fascia are physically trained. Additionally in Taijiquan there is mental work (as intention, spirit and mind), the use of the eye focus and finally breathing techniques as an “link” from inside and outside (psychosomatics).
We also use the traditional acupuncture points of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in a very practical and therefore still usable way. This enables us to neurologically activate and finetune our sensomotoric Response of the body. In this way, a holistic and integrated martial art is being crafted, which enables body and mind to become one through a solid and down-to-earth methodology. I am infinitely grateful that I was allowed to learn this art!
At some point there will surely be more content 🙂
